Communication
Team communication should go through Crossbar. The app enables families to respond to practice/game attendance, have team chats, etc.
Practices
Scheduled at the discretion of the coaches. Plan on having at least one practice per week during the season.
Games
Once the schedule is created by the Waushara County League, coaches are responsible for communicating with the opponent in the event a game needs to be canceled due to rain/inclement weather.
Facility (field/gym) Reservation
OBSA reserves home fields for games. Coaches use the School District of Omro Facility Use site to reserve gyms and fields for practices.
Team Equipment
Head coaches pick up a set of equipment at the start of the season and are responsible for returning it at the end of the season.
Concessions
The hope is that families will sign up for concessions on their own. However, it is the responsibility of the coach to ensure there is coverage for home concessions game (10U and older) by assigning your team's families, if needed.

Who is in charge of making sure the concession stand has an adult working it?
Coaches of 10U teams and older should coordinate the concession stand coverage. Each night there are home games (for ages 10U and older), the concession stand should be open.
2025 Coaches
The Waushara County league is a recreational league where players should have close to equal playing time. The objective of the league, for OBSA participants, is to support the development of fundamentals through positive coaching during practices and games.
